James Allen Quarles Jr was born December 16, 1938 in Pembroke, KY to the late James Allen Quarles Sr and the late Juanita Quarles Lowe.  He was a former factory worker with Mid Continent Spring Co where he retired.

He enjoyed Farming, Loved Working Out, and Swimming.  He was a member of the Howard Finley Lodge #160 for over 50 years. He was also a past Honorary Master. He also taught Sunday School at Foston Chapel for 42 years.

He was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church Hopkinsville, KY., where he was a member of the Male Choir.

James Allen Quarles Jr passed away on April 27, 2020 at his residence in Hopkinsville, KY.

He was preceded in death by 1 Son: Lemound Quarles, 1 Daughter: Patricia Quarles, and  1 Step Son: Robert Bussell

Mothers of His Children: Lucille Catlett, Betty Gravely Bussell

He leaves to mourn 22 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren

A private funeral for the immediate family only, due to social distancing will be held at Gamble Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Cave Spring Cemetery Hopkinsville, KY.
