James Thomas Quarles, 78, Pembroke, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in Pembroke KY.

James, the son of the late Sylvester Quarles and Dorothy Holland, was born on January 3, 1947, in Christian Co. KY.

James was a member of First Street Baptist Church and retired from Pop Fastener in the Maintenance Department after 40+ years. He was an U.S. ARMY Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, working on cars and using his hands to build things. He was a member of Vietnam Museum and Diabled Vets Organization.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Quarles; son, Kevin T. (Heather) Quarles; brother, Everett Vinson Quarles; grandchildren, Christian Quarles, Savannah Moody, and Delilah McKinley.
