James Michael Urdiales, 74, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1950, in San Marcos, Texas, to Celestino and Evelyn Steffen Urdiales.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Celestino and Evelyn Urdiales and his brothers Robert, John, Donnie Urdiales, and sister Rosileta Yuchnewicz.

Michael worked for many years as a carpenter and was Catholic by faith.

Following his death, Michael gave the gift of life through tissue donation. Michael's tissue donation will touch the lives of many people.

Michael is survived by Debra, his wife of 38 1/2 years, son James Nicholas (fiancé, Samantha) of Splendora, Texas; brothers Celestino (Florence) Louis, Lawrence (Monya), Ronnie; numerous nieces and nephews. Michael is also survived by his furbabies and grand-furbabies.

Informal Celebration of Life/Memorial service will be held 3 May from 11:00-1:00 at Gamble Funeral Home
