Janice Carolyn Bussell, 72, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on February 11, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky.  The daughter of the late Willie and Grace Jackson Bussell, she was born August 30, 1951 in Christian County, Kentucky.

Janice was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church and she attended Lane Tabernacle and Life Tabernacle. She worked in senior care and in the nursery for daycare.

Janice enjoyed singing, dancing, gardening, and growing flowers.  She was involved in active day care.  She also enjoyed decorating and going to church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, James Cox, and Tishie Belle Bussell.

She is survived by her children, Benji (Barbara) Bussell of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Kwan Bussell of Louisville, Kentucky; siblings, Willie C Bussell, David (Ida) Bussell, both of Virginia, and Milton Ray Bussell of Tacoma, Washington; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
