Jeffery OBrien “Bull” Burse, born February 6, 1967, passed away on October 19, 2026.

Jeffery will be remembered with love by those who knew him best. He worked as an operator for Electrolux, and outside of work he enjoyed the simple comforts that brought him happiness, especially watching westerns, CSI, 48 Hours, and Animal Kingdom. He was also proud to be a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church, a place that was part of his life and faith.

He leaves behind a family who will carry his memory forward with deep affection. He is survived by his mother, Irene Burse-Williams; his siblings, Vivian Burse, Harold (Darlene) Burse, Michael Ray (Clarice) Burse, Jacqueline Burse, O'Phelia Burse, Melvin Burse, Darriel Anthony Burse, Chantessa A. Benson, and Dr. Amy L. Burse; and his uncles, Alfred (Camille) Burse and Dr. Raymond (Kim) Burse. Their bond as a family remains a lasting part of the life Jeffery shared with them.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Henry Sanders; his brother, Gregory Burse; his brother, James Sanders; and his sister, Christy Sanders. As his loved ones mourn his passing, they also honor the place he holds among those who went before him and the many memories that remain.

Visitation will be held on October 29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Durrett Avenue Baptist Church, 1918 Church Street, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Cave Springs Cemetery, 2120 Greenville Road, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240.

Jeffery “Bull” Burse will be remembered for the life he lived, the family he loved, and the familiar joys that made him who he was. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew and loved him.
