Jerry L Birl Sr 78, was born May 20, 1941 in Cypress, AL. to the late Willie Birl and the late Lizzie Toosen Birl. He had previously been employed at the Federal U S Postal Service in New York City.

He was married to the love of his life for over fifty years.

He was a member of Freeman Chapel CME Church, where he was the organist.

Jerry passed away on March 23, 2020 at Trigg County Hospital, Cadiz, KY.

Children: 1 Son, Thomas Christopher Birl

Siblings: 2 Sisters, Lillian Harris, and Ernest Ruth Morton

He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry L Birl Jr, 1 Brother, Willie Birl, and 1 Sister, Mattie Reid

A private funeral for the immediate family only, due to social distancing will be held at Gamble Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Patterson Cemetery in Trigg County, Cadiz, KY.
