Retired Sgt. 1st Class John M. Jackson, 88, Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Clarksville, TN.

John was the son of the late James Jackson and Idell Hann. He was born on February 27, 1936, in Cleveland, OH.

John attended Greater Missionary Baptist Church and Community Chapel. He was a Drug & Alcohol Counselor at Fort Campbell. He retired from the U.S. Army.

John enjoyed racing and riding motorcycles and remote control cars, and traveling. He was the owner and founder of Mystic Knights Motorcycle Club- Hopkinsville, KY. He enjoyed photography and sold leather at different events.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie M. Jackson.

Survivors include his brothers, George Jackson, Lawrence Jackson and Desmond (Annie) Jackson; devoted friend/caregiver, Kelvin (Adrianne) Braxton.
