Johnnie Ray Tate, 67, Hopkinsville, died Friday, November 6, 2020 at his home of natural causes.

Memorial Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Bailey Davie officiating.

A native of Christian County, he was born June 15, 1953 to the late Louis and Minnie Bush Tate.

Johnnie was employed as a construction worker.  He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Averitt Tate, two children, Kimberly Chastine, Terrell Poindexter, his sister-Dorothy (Larry) Ward, his brother, Larry Tate, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
