Joseph Wanye Stepp, 68, passed on Saturday, January 28, 2023, of natural causes.

Joseph, the son of the late Alexander Stepp, Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson Stepp, was born on February 15, 1954, in Christian County.

Joseph attended West Union Baptist Church at an early age and was a factory worker at P.F.C Fabrication Factory.

He enjoyed playing basketball and doing yard work.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by 1 son, DeAndra Brown; and 3 siblings, Fred Stepp, Nellie Miller, and Henry Stepp.

Survivors include 3 children, Terrance Stepp, NiKia Barker, Ashley Phipps; 6 siblings, Alexander (Doris) Stepp Jr., Mary Smith, Hershel (June) Stepp, Dennis (Allesandra) Stepp, Robert Stepp, Jerry Stepp; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
