Katherine Brison Hurt, 77, Hopkinsville, passed on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Katherine, the daughter of the late Vice Roy Brison Sr. and Martha Crenshaw Brison, was born on September 27, 1945, in Trigg County.

Katherine was a receptionist at the Christian Co. Senior Citizens Building and a member of Life Tabernacle Church.

She enjoyed landscaping, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Elder Walter Hurt.

Survivors include her 6 children, Tom Wallace, Virginia Erxleben, David (Mero) Wallace, Walter Hurt Jr., Darryne (Angie) Hurt, Torrey Hurt; 12 siblings, Vice Roy Brison Jr., Herman Brison, Ray Brison, Charles (Cassandra) Brison, Ronnie Brison, Wilma (Paul) Sanders, Mary L. Brison, Martha (Tyrone) Barber, Mary J. (Ray) McKnight, Della (Rev. Ollie) Hancock, Rev. T.W. (Shelly) Brison, Albert Brison; 34 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
