Kenneth Duane Smith, 54, Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Kenneth was the son of the late William Edward Smith and Josephine Merriweather Smith-Mckinney. He was born on July 2, 1969, in Christian Co.

Kenneth was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was previously employed at TRAD. He enjoyed basketball and was recently inducted in the the HHS Hall of Fame.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Jenea Smith.

Survivors include his wife Marie Smith; Sons, Kenneth Smith, Jr. and Kendall Smith; siblings, Rev. Irvin Cushenberry, Elisa Smith-Herbert, and Timothy Smith; nieces and nephews, Dedrick Cushenberry, Shannon Cushenberry, Irvin Cushenberry, Jr., Elaysia Becton, Breanna Becton, Demar Smith, and Zaccora Smith.
