He was formerly employed with American Tobacco as a production worker.

He was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church Cadiz, KY.

Lacy Eugene Boyd Sr. passed away on June 6, 2020 at Baptist East Hospice Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his 1st Wife: Vernell Boyd, and his 2nd Wife: Mary Boyd, and 6 Siblings

He leaves to mourn his passing 12 Grandchildren, A Host of Great Grandchildren, and a Host of Great Great Grandchildren
