Obituary

Laura May Bacon Radford, 76, Hopkinsville, died at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at her residence of natural causes.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Perry Greenwade officiating.  Burial will be in Little Mill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Christian County, she was born February 29, 1944, the daughter of the late Robert Bacon and Etta Bell Dillard.

She was formerly employed as a Home Health Nurse.  She was a member of Little River Baptist Church, where she served on the Pastor's Aide.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, Monroe Bacon, Dorothy Singleton, George Bacon, Robert Bacon, Gordon Bacon, Thomas Bacon and Elmo Bacon.

Survivors include, stepchildren, Roy (Jean) Radford, Elizabeth Stepp, Betty (Rev. C.R.) Cheatham, Lydia Larkins, Elaine (Selby) Grubbs, Frances Dickerson, Ronnell Johnson, Coy Radford, Rev. Dennis Radford, Rev. Mose Radford, Freddie Radford, Hilda Radford, Brothers-Walter "Blue" (Margaret) Bacon, Roosevelt Bacon, a host of step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
