Laura Hopkins, 71, Christian County, died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Christian Health Nursing Home of natural causes.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 12, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Home with Bishop Robert Garrard officiating.  Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.

Walk thru visitation will be Thursday, 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Christian County, she was born January 30, 1949, daughter of the late Robert and Ollie Bayliss Hopkins.

Laura was employed as a cook at Ryans's Resturant.  She was a member of the Disciples of Christ Christian Worship Center, Madisonville, KY where she served on the Mother's Board.

Survivors include her children, John Hopkins, Martha (Robert) Poindexter, Patricia (Rev. William) Coleman, and Katherine Hopkins.  Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
