Lawrence Alan Williams, 51, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home in Lilburn, Georgia of natural causes.

A Memorial Celebration will at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Mahone, Jr. officiating.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ, but raised in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late Poindexter Williams and Hilda Jean Norwood.

Lawrence was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was currently employed with the United States Postal Service in Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence A. Williams, Jr. and sister, Rhonda Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Tabitha Thompson Williams, two daughters, JaNay and JaNaysha Williams, step-sons, Justin Young, Dosson Thompson,  step-daughter, Carmen Thompson-Monroe. Four brothers, James (Josiellia) Williams, Gregory (Sara) Williams, Thomas Williams, and Billy (Melissa) Williams.
