Lester Yates Howard, 76, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare, Clarksville, TN of natural causes.

He was born June 17, 1944 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Martha Potts Kendrick.

Lester was a US Army Veteran. He retired as CEO from the Dover Road Medical Clinic.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Christler Howard,  brother-Lincoln Howard, sister-Rita Kay Howard and son-in-law-SSGT Rodric T. Haynes.

He is survived by five children, Sharon Owens, Kim Lee, Maurethia (Gregory) Mitchell, Brian Yates Sharber, Leslie Haynes, Five siblings, Christler (Sidney) Christie, Eddie Howard, Marshall Howard, Robert "Bobby Joe" Howard, and Thomasa (Paul) Campbell. Fourteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Loyal companion "Bull" service dog.
