Lois Elliott Hollowell was born July 6, 1947 in Cadiz, KY  to the late Cleother Richmond Elliott and the late Thelma Lorene Bush Blane.  She was formerly employed by the Christian County Public School System as a School Bus Driver.  Her special interest included taking care of other people and giving her time to help others when needed.

She was a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church where she served as a Trustee, Sunday School Superintendent, Finance Clerk, Choir Member, and member of the Usher Board.

Lois Elliott Hollowell passed away on April 22, 2020 at her residence in Hopkinsville, KY.

Survivors:

Spouse: Jeffery Hollowell Sr.

Children: Dolores Jones, Beverly Hamilton, Spencer Wilson, Anthony Watkins, and  Maurice Watkins

Siblings:

1 Brother: Amos (Toia) Elliott

2 Sisters: Dorothy Mosby, Burnetha Elliott

She was preceded in death by 1 Son: James Elliott, and 8 Siblings

She leaves to mourn 19 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren

A Host of Nieces, Nephews, and 1 Dedicated Nephew: Johnny White Jr. Family and Friends.

A private funeral for the immediate family only, due to social distancing will be held at Gamble Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Cave Spring Cemetery Hopkinsville, KY.
