Louise Green Johnson, 86, Hopkinsville, passed on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Louise, the daughter of Ben Green and Pearl Paige, was born on September 9, 1937, in Earlington, Ky.

Louise was a member of Campbell St. Church of Christ and a retired kitchen worker at Belmont Elementary School.

She enjoyed reading the bible, helping others, fishing, traveling, and socializing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Johnson; grandson, Keith Ramey; Twin brother, Louis Green, and other siblings, George L. Green, Nelson Green, Phoebie S. Waddell, and Beatrice Gray.

Survivors include 2 sons, Stephen Cushenberry, and Charles Eric (Robin) Green; a step-son, Mitchell Johnson; a sister, Elizabeth Peel; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
