Louvenia Russell Peavie, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee.

A native of Todd County, KY she was born March 22, 1948, daughter of the late Roosevelt and Hattie Mae Meriwether.

She was a member of Liberty Church where she served over the Christian Education.

Dr. Louvenia Peavie is a thirty-three year veteran educator who served with the Department of Defense Education Activity spending all of her career teaching and counseling at the Secondary Level with Ft. Campbell Schools.  She was also the founder of Tapestry Connections.

Dr. Peavie is survived by her husband, Arthur Peavie, sons, Kenneth (Kashmir) Peavie, Barrett (Michelle) Peavie, Christopher Peavie, Anthony (Noemi) Peavie, one brother, Randolph (Faye) Meriwether, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
