Mr. Gwendol Edwin Baker, LTC (retired) passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, of natural causes.

He was born April 17, 1966, in Trigg County, Kentucky, son of the late Norris and Alma Crump Baker.

LTC Baker was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church and worked as a Training Administrator at Ft. Detrick in Fredrick, MD. He also served 28 years in the U.S Army Reserve.

Survivors include his wife, Linda V. Baker, Hagerstown, MD Daughter, Cierra (Anthony) Holt, CA. Step-children, Carlos (Liz) Blandino-Lopez, PA; Raelyn Ward, AL; Ryen Ward, MO. His siblings: Vivian (Marvin) Hood, Bowling Green, KY; Sheneda (Jimmy) Little, Louisville, KY; Norris Baker Jr. (Monique), Kokomo, IN; Betty (Don) Clayton, Cadiz, KY; Hoeston Baker, Kokomo, IN; Al (Nikki) Baker, Ashland, KY; Almaria Baker, Louisville, KY; Tanisha (David) Kabithe, Hopkinsville, KY; Celeste Baker, Louisville, KY, and 6 grandchildren.
