Margaret (Mrs.Peg) daughter of late Sallie Bell Mimms Thomas and Rev Peola Russell began her journey on June 8, 1959. Her Mother, Father, William Mimms , Babe Fuqua, Clarence Mimms proceeded her death.

Margaret (Mrs.Peg) accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a faithful servant of the Lord and a member at St Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Margaret received her formal education at Todd County School System and also retired from Holly's in Springfield, Tn. On April 9, 1994 Margaret Mimms United in Matrimony with James Dowlen and the proud parents of four.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many. She would pray for the family, encourage you and give you a word. She was a faithful servant of God and when she prayed for you it was powerful. She enjoyed cooking, having family and friends over and reading the Bible.

On December 9 ,2021 Mrs. Peg answered God's beckoned call to cease her from her earthly labor and entered her Master Joy

She leaves behind her husband James Dowlen of Guthrie, Ky Son Timothy (Sheena) Mimms of Clarksville,Tn, daughter Krystal (William)Merriweather of Guthrie, Ky ,Daughter Elizabeth Banks and son Deshawn Dickerson of Guthrie, Ky Grandkids Deontray Johnson, Keontae Mimms, Antione and Demauryan Merriweather, Rian Mimms Great Grand Kids Elias , Resse and Kalaya Sister Jackie (Marvin)Brodus of Guthrie Ky, Mary(Jessie) Dickerson of Guthrie, Ky Brother Kenny Russell and Pete Russell of Clarksville Tn and Lewis(Sharon) Russell , Aunt Alma Russell Groves of Guthrie, Ky and Uncle Lee V Russell and a host of nieces , nephews and cousins who she loved dearly.
