In the summer of 1953, on the 26th day of June, Margie Christine Jackson was born in Christian County, Kentucky, to the late George Thomas Jackson and Mary Irvin.

Early in life, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and joined the St. John Baptist Church, where she served on the Mothers Ministry; she also attended Allen Grove Baptist Church.

In her spare time, Margie enjoyed watching TV, taking care of her flowers, but most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darriel D. Bell, and a sister, Rosetta Jackson Wimberly.

On Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, only a few days before her birthday, Margie departed from this life. She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Jerry (Marcia) Bell; a daughter, Ashley (Darvin) Bussell; one sister, Mary Jackson; one brother, Nicholas Irvin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
