Mark Steele, 86, Hopkinsville, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023.

Mark was the son of the late Mark, Sr. and Sadie Steele. He was born October 29, 1937, in Todd County.

Mark was a deacon at Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. He was employed as a custodian for First United Methodist Church and a truck driver for Mayflower Co. Mark served in the US ARMY. He also worked for Civil Service in Fort Campbell.

Mark enjoyed fishing. He was a Masonic Member 33rd Degree Mason and Order of Eastern Star Member.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Sherrod, Sandra Dunbar, Willie Steele, James Steele and William Steele.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly (Charles) Hobson; Siblings, Emma Knott and Sharon Daise; Aunt, Esther Harris; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Special Friend, Johnnie M. Fletcher; A host of nieces & nephews, & cousins.
