Mary Evelyn Irvin Phillips, 89, Cerulean, passed on Friday, January 6, 2023, of natural causes.

Mary, the daughter of the late George Irvin and Hadie Bingham Irvin, was born on November 14, 1933, in Trigg County.

Mary was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church and was a cafeteria worker for Trigg Co. Public School System for over 30 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, canning, and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Samuel Phillips Sr.; a son, Samuel Phillips Jr.; and a brother, James Irvin.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Sharon Long, Beverly P. Jones; daughter in law, Linda Phillips; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.
