Mattie Sue Mason Cherry, 68, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

Mask are required to attend funeral services.

A native of Christian County, she was born February 21, 1953, daughter of the late L.G. Mason and Margaret Hopkins Mason.

Mattie was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. She was employed with the US Tobacco Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Javaris Cherry.

She is survived by her children, Jamayia Cherry, Devin Cherry, and Sherekia Cherry, Five siblings, Don (Sandra) Mason, Donzella Mason, Betty McGruder, Jessie Mason, Theresa Mosley, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
