Mildred Arlene Quarles, 76, Hopkinsville, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Mildred was the daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth Bacon. She was born on December 22, 1947, in Christian Co. Ky.

Mildred was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church where she was an Usher. She was employed in the Dietary Department at Pennyrile Nursing Home. She enjoyed plants, bingo, reading, and spending time with her family.

Mildred is preceded in death by her son, Michael Quarles.

Survivors include her children, Leander Stewart, Wendell Quarles, Jeffrey Quarles, Kenneth Quarles, Corey (Patricia) Quarles, Sr., Mitchell Quarles, and Derrick Quarles; siblings, Carl (Barbara) Bacon, Clyde (Jill) Bacon, Stevie Bacon, Janice (Frenchie) Hooks, and Jeanette (Kenneth) Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews
