Nancy Carol Wells Bailey, 82, Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Russellville, KY.

Nancy, the daughter of the late Sherly Wells and Louvenia Denning, was born on June 4, 1943, in Logan County, KY.

Nancy was a member of Middleton First Baptist Church and was employed as a housekeeper in Russellville Healthcare Manor. She enjoyed decorating her house, shopping, cooking, entertaining, traveling, dancing, old school R&B and gospel music, and trying new adventures. She was a avid record collector that loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Owen Bailey; son, Franklin Wells; and sister, Claudine Terrel.

Survivors include her daughter, Regina Wells; grandchildren, Angel Washington and Adrian Wells; 2 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and many beloved cousins from Georgia and Michigan.
