Odell Odessa Wadlington, 68, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, in Nashville, TN.

Odell was the son of Lorene Wadlington and the late Hubert Wadlington.

Odell was a member of St. John Baptist Church where he worked with the youth and Sunday School. He was employed as an assistant Laborer with Country Club Golf Course.

He enjoyed dressing sharp and being around his family. He was very social and was a people person. He was affectionately known as "Shaft" by his family and his friends.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Mandell Wadlington; Sisters, Faye Wadlington and Lucretia Wadlington.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Agnes Wadlington, Joyce Wadlington, Brenda Morris, Albert Wadlington, Sherniece (Marty) McGregor, Ronald Wadlington, Hugh Wadlington, and Terry Wadlington; a host of nephews and nieces.
