Ophelia Thomas Acree, 81, Hopkinsville, passed on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Ophelia was the daughter of the late Tom Thomas and Wallace Earthman Thomas. She born on November 26, 1941, in Christian Co.

Ophelia was a member of First Street Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and worked as a factory worker with IG Auto Trim.

She enjoyed helping other people, watching westerns, going to Active Day Care Center, working puzzles, and going to the Salvation Army to shop.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Acree; daughter, Betty Ruth Dillard; and sister Pauline Thomas.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Lowder; devoted grandson, Harric (Toya) Dillard; grandchildren, Darrick Dillard and Ashley Dillard; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
