Phiesta Renee Wilson Johnson, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on December 3, 1956, in Christian County, Kentucky, to Earl Wilson and Doris Snorton Ware.

Phiesta was a member of Good Shepherd Church.

She worked as a cashier at Speedway. She enjoyed reading, window shopping, visiting yard sales, caring for her plants, and watching old-school movies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Dillard; her grandmother, Pearl Graves; and her aunt, Susie Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Steven Johnson; her children, Yolanda Peak and Marlon Dozier; and her siblings, Renieca Harris, Beryl Jackson, Cherilyn White, Glenda Ware, Chandra Ware, Jimmy Ware, Jr., Tracey (Keith) Wilson-West, Greg Dudley, and Kimberly (Robert) Wilson Reid.
