Queenastere Bailey Thornton Turnley, 65, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN.

A native of Christian County she was born July 3, 1955, daughter of the late John Edd Bailey and Georgia Carter.

Queenastere was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. She had previously worked for several Nursing Homes in the Dietary Department.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Linton Turnley, six children; Terry Wayne Coleman,Tracey Lynn Coleman, Kenneth Lamont (Montessa) Thornton, Mark Thornton, Michael Jr. (LaTonya) Thornton, LaShunda (James) Davis, Seven siblings;Julia West, Leona Bailey, Lillian (Marian) Wimberly, Bishop George (Shelia) Bailey, Betty Jo Warner, Irene Greenwade, J.T. Bailey, Step-daughter, Shannon Turnley, a host of grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
