Obituary

Quinton Cortez Richardson, of Pembroke, Kentucky, passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 44. He was born on June 11, 1982, in Hopkins County, Kentucky.

Quinton gave his life to Christ at an early age and began his Christian journey at St. Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Later, he partnered with other churches and made The Perfect Church in Atlanta, Georgia, his home. His faith remained an important part of his life and helped shape the way he lived and related to others.

In his working life, Quinton served as a Cert Team Leader at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison. He was also known for the things that brought him joy away from work. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching sports, reading the Bible, and, most of all, cooking. Those who knew him will remember the warmth he brought to everyday moments and the care he showed through the time he shared with the people he loved.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Amaya Richardson, Azaria Richardson, and Caleb Richardson; his father, Wilmer Small Jr.; his brother, Pastor Montel Richardson; and his aunts, Dianna Richardson, Audrey Hollowell, and Peggy Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Each of them carries forward treasured memories of Quinton and the impact he made in their lives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Richardson Small.

Quinton Cortez Richardson will be remembered with love for his devotion to family, his Christian faith, and the simple joys that meant so much to him. His memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
