A native of Christian County, he was born April 7, 1955, the son of the late Nancy Winston.
Richard was employed by Budweiser. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by a sister-Teresa Mosley, Hopkinsville, KY; and a brother-Kerry Farrow, Hopkinsville, KY
