Richard Henry McKnight, 69, Cadiz, passed on Monday, January 09, 2023, of natural causes.

Richard, the son of the late James McKnight and Louise Sisk Carter, was born on February 8, 1953, in Christian County.

Richard was a member of Cedar Grove Bapt. Church and was a laborer at the rock quarry.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by 3 brothers, Walter Gold, Albert Gold, Clayton Carter; and devoted companion, Norma Mills.

Survivors include his 3 children, Leondria Henry, Tia Mills, Riquese McKnight; 1 sister, Mary Meriwether; 2 brothers, James Carter, Willie Gold; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
