Robert Thomas Ford, Sr., 91, Hopkinsville, passed on Monday, November 11, 2024.

Robert, the son of the late Cross Ford, Sr., and Serena Bridges Ford, was born on July 3, 1933, in Wallonia, Ky.

Robert was a member of Montgomery Elizabeth Bapt. Church and worked at Johnson Control for 32 years. He was also a member of the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed attending church, fishing, hunting, Westerns, UK basketball, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 9 siblings.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Judy (David) Dawson, and Barbara Ford (Granvill Tyler); devoted grandchildren, David Dawson Jr, Iisha Hobson; Wendy (Jerry) Anderson; Devoted niece, Wanda Wharton; Devoted caregiver, Sherrie Davie; a host of grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great- great grandchildren; and a host of nices and nephews.
