Robert Lewis Gaines, Jr., 69, Russellville, passed on Monday, October 14, 2024.

Robert, the son of the late Robert Gaines Sr. and Elanora Bellamy Gaines, was born on December 20, 1054, in Logan Co., Ky.

Robert was a member of Middleton First Baptist Church and a Die Castor for Rane Factory.

He was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

He enjoyed fishing, collecting tools, music, the Dallas Cowboys, his grandchildren, and being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Jefferson Gaines; 3 children; Antonio Jefferson, Vontedda Jefferson, Ashley Jefferson; one sister, Jacqueline Gaines; Sister-in-laws, Mary Yarbrough, Bonnie (James) Gordon, Rachel Jefferson; Brother-in-laws, Joe (Jeanette) Jefferson Jr., Charles (Tanita) Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson; two aunts, Mildred Hart, Tanya (Irvin) Lane; one uncle, Anthony Bellamy; 4 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
