Robert Lewis Merriweather, 44, Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Robert was the son of the late Robert L. Poindexter and Dorothea Allensworth. He was born on August 13, 1979, in Christian CO.

Robert was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was employed as a factory worker. He enjoyed listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Angela Matlock.

Survivors include his children, Javiel Sanders, Jamyah Finch, Zionnah Merriweather, and Zion Merriweather; siblings, Tarsha Merriweather and Kim Matlock; significant other, Lakresha Tillett; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
