Robert Lewis Shelton, 77, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home.

A native of Christian County, he was born June 19, 1944, son of the late Rev. Dover and Louise Trice Shelton.

He was a member of New Antioch House of Praise where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Supervisor.  He was an Army Veteran and he retired from Western State Hospital after 26 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Dover Shelton, Jr, Dover Jean Shelton and Shirley A. Jones

He is survived by his wife, Roberta Davie Shelton, children, Belinda Bailey, Bill Pailin, siblings, Enoise (Betty) Shelton, Tim (Deborah) Shelton, Larry (Judy) Shelton, Glen (Felicia) Shelton, Curtis Shelton, Tracey (Bobby) Holland, Paul (Beverly) Shelton, Juanita (Robert) Dinkins, Kay (James) Marlowe, Wanda (William) Smith, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
