Rodney Alexander Braxton, 60, Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in Clinton, KY.

Rodney was the son of the late James A. Braxton, Jr. and Ardenia M. Wilson Braxton. He was born on August 30, 1963, in Christian Co. KY.

Rodney was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church. After serving the U.S. Air Force for 7 years (Veteran), Rodney became a construction worker. He enjoyed football, drawing, wrestling, and watching sports.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra Braxton.

Survivors include his son, Durelle Braxton; Siblings, Stephanie Shakespeare, Adrian Smith, Jeanon "Elsie" Newman, Sonya (Alfred) Watkins, Kimberly (Ervin) Felton; 1 Grandson, Messiah Braxton; a host of nieces and nephews.
