Roland "Squirrel" Beaird Jr., 75, Franklin, passed on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Roland, the son of the late Lucille Daniel and Roland Beard Sr., was born on May 18, 1947, in Logan County.

He served in the U.S. Army.

"Squirrel" enjoyed watching sports and talking to family and friends.

in addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by 1 sister, Gertrude Beard.

Survivors include, 1 brother, Jeffery "Jimmy Jack" Daniel; nieces, Gayle Dillion, Cynthia "Tiny" Beard, Terrika, Je'Tia, Tierra, Jeffriece Weatherford-Daniel; 2 devoted cousins, Roger Daniel, Clarence "Jack" Daniel; devoted friends, Denver, Emanuel, Onya Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
