Rosetta Merriweather Haskins, 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in Virginia Beach, VA.

Rosetta, the daughter of the late Isaac and Minnie Merriweather, was born on September 1, 1940, in Christian Co. She was employed with the Environmental Service Department at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Rosetta was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Haskins; son, William Wilford; sisters, Parthenia Dobbins and Bessie Mae Turner; brother, Paul Thomas.

Survivors include her children, Min. James (Louvenia) Wilford, Rosa (Joe) None, Debra White, Patricia (Carroll) Goodwyn, Melinda Wilford, Isaac Wilford, Minnie Glover, Jeffrey Wilford, Paulette (Carl, Jr.) Burnett; sister, Norine Mumford; 32 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; a host of great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
