Russell Junior Burrus was born March 20, 1949 in Christian County, KY to the late James Burrus and the late Pearline Burse.  He had retired with 20 years of service with Hopkinsville Milling Co as a Packer Operator.  He enjoyed Fishing in his free time.

He was a member of Gainsville Baptist Church Hopkinsville, KY.  And he also attended Edgefield Baptist Church Pembroke, KY.

Russell Junior Burrus passed away on June 9, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center Nashville, TN.

1 Son: Russell Wayne (Darlene) Burrus

2 Daughters: Marilyn Burrus, Tara (Lonnie Johnson) Rascoe

Siblings: Charles Burrus, Richard Burrus, Donald Ray (Dorothy) Burrus, and  Dorothy Jean (George) Franklin

Devoted Companion: Jeanetta Rascoe

He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: James Burrus, and Robert Burrus.  2 Sisters: Esterlin Sivils, and Beulah M. Burrus

He leaves to mourn his passing 3 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.  A Host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, Family and Friends.

A private Drive-Thru Visitation will be held at Gamble Funeral Home on 06/16/2020 from 3-5PM Hopkinsville, KY.

A private funeral for the immediate family only, due to social distancing will be held at Gamble Funeral Home on 06/17/2020 at 11:00AM.

A private burial will be held at Green Hill Memorial Gardens Hopkinsville, KY.
