Sarah Elizabeth Torian Taylor, 84, Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in Christian Co.

Sarah, the daughter of the late Virgil Lee and Amanda Torian, was born on March 6, 1940, in Christian Co.

Sarah was a member of First Street Baptist Church where she was the Secretary of Sunday School, a member of the Senior and Sanctuary Choirs. Previously, she was the manager of AME Homes.

Sarah was a caregiver for kids, loved to crochet and iron. She was known as the "Forrest Park Mom". She was a part of the Lord and Ladies Social Club.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Samuel Taylor, Sr; brothers, Thomas Torian and Virgil Torian, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Eric (Franque) Taylor, Samuel (Lynette) Taylor, Jr, Linda (Leon) Oldham, Karen Wallace, and Kimberly Taylor; brother, William (Diana) Torian; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; God child, Laka (Isaac) Wilson; devoted niece, Teresa (Austin) Moss; devoted son-in-law, Leon Oldham
