Steven "Henry" Phipps, 66, Owensboro, passed on Saturday, September 10, 2022, of natural causes.

Steven, the son of the late George and Imogene Bard Phipps, was born on October 23, 1955, in Muhlenberg Co.

He worked in the tobacco fields and as a landscaper.

He enjoyed playing checkers, sci-fi and western movies, and being around people.

Survivors include, a daughter, Ashley Watson; 6 siblings, Donna Drake, Georgetta Johnson, Angela Phipps, Laura "Jill" (Richard) Diehl, Fronda Buxton, Matthew (Evelyn) Phipps; 3 grandchildren, Canaan Upton, Ryken Upton, Addaleigh Upton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
