Susie Mae Day Simmons, 70 passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Duke Raleigh Hospital, Raleigh, NC.

A native of Todd County, she was born December 7, 1951, daughter of the late Henry A. Day and Mollie Green Day.

Susie was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a retired Civil Service Worker (Commissary) Ft. Campbell, KY.  She enjoyed fishing and watching westerns.

She is survived by her children, Miktez Simmons, De'Shun Simmons, Makita Simmons, siblings, Frances Tunnell, Ronnie (Velma) Day, James Dickerson, and 3 grandchildren.
