Tara Felice
Mahone
Sep 16, 1972 — Jan 15, 2021
Hopkinsville
The life of Tara Felice Mahone started on September 16, 1972 in Hopkinsville, KY to Paul Waddell and Patricia Waddell-Bell. Tara was a devoted Christian that loved serving the Lord in any compacity that she could. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Hopkinsville, KY. She served faithfully and pridefully in a variety of roles such as Deaconess, Membership, Usher, Assistant Youth Director, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Hospitality Team, Transportation, Youth Counsel and the Drama Team. Tara was supportive of any and all outreach and in house ministries where she would always put her work for the ministry first. She loved her church and church family dearly.
Tara met the love of her life, Keith Mahone Sr, in 1992. They began living together. Their love produced three sons together, Daquarius Tre'von Mahone, Keith Alan Mahone Jr. and Jovante' Rashaad Mahone. Tara and Keith Sr later united in marriage on September 02, 2000. Tara and Keith was very proud that uniquely all three of their of their sons would accept their calling into the ministry as preachers. Tara was the only woman in the family and shared special and unique bond with her husband and each one of her sons. Tara was employed by the Administrative office of The Court as a Court Designated worker. She loved and believed in the work she was doing. She often rejoiced that her work lined up with her ministry of helping youth. She was passionate in what she did. Tara had a vivacious personality, infectious smile and always made people around her feel unimaginably loved. She made friends everywhere and especially loved family and close friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking greens, helping those in need and conversating. Tara loved people and people loved Tara. She would easily be considered to be 'The Life of any party'. All that knew her knows that she loved them dearly. However, she was very partial to her mother Patricia, her niece, Aleah Tyler.
