Thelma Teresa Joiner Brown, 65, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

A native of Christian County, she was born June 11, 1956, daughter of Theodore Joiner, Jr. and the late Betty Lou "Sue" Moss Joiner.

Thelma was a member of First Street Baptist Church, there she was a member of the Choir, Pastor Aid and the Good Samaritan.

Thelma was employed in the Culinary Department with Morningside Assistant Living.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Joiner.

She is survived by her daughter, LaTesha Joiner (Joseph) Lanier, her father, Theodore Joiner, Jr., Siblings, Rose Montgomery, Carrie Joiner (Charles Johnson), Ada Bailey, Kathy Joiner, Margaret Joiner, Greg (Michelle) Babb, Bobby (Shanika) Babb, and three grandchildren.
