Theodore Marshall Parrish, 82, Madisonville, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, in Louisville, KY.

Theodore was the son of the late Marshall and Dora Parrish. He was born on September 8, 1941, in Smith Grove, KY.

Theodore was a member of Eastview Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee. He was employed for 32 years as a teacher for Hopkins County Public School System located in Madisonville. After teaching, he then worked for the Board of Education.

Theodore enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and being outdoors taking care of his yard. He was a huge U.K. fan and a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity at Kentucky State University.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Clara Graham Parrish; daughters, Kimberly (Stefan) Taylor and Cheryl (James) Smith; brother, Lawrence Taylor; 2 grandchildren, Jaiven Smith and Jayan Smith; adopted daughter, Hannah Crabtree; a host of nieces and nephews.
