Thurman "Beatrice" Leavell Davie, 101, Lafayette, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Beatrice, the daughter of the late Ruben Leavell and Mary Etta Roach Dixon, was born on May 20, 1923, in Christian Co. KY.

Beatrice was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served as the Mother's Board President, Kitchen Committee, and the oldest member of the church. She enjoyed quilting, cleaning, cooking, shopping, and going to garage sales shopping for antiques. She also enjoyed flowers and watching WWE, MSNBC News and Gunsmoke. Her favorite past-time was dipping snuff. She was the oldest citizen of  Lafayette,KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Brandon Davie, Jr.; Children, Roberta Davie Shelton, Frank Davie, James H. Davie, Leroy Davie, and Linda Davie; Brothers, James H. Bell & 14 other siblings.

Survivors include her children, Rheda (Mark) Bacon and Rev. Kenneth (Angela) Davie; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; a host of great great-grandchildren; a loyal friend, Beatrice Cheatham; a host of nieces and nephews.
