Vada Kirby, 96, Hopkinsville, passed on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Vada, the daughter of the late Bill and Gertrude Crump, was born on September 25, 1926, in Crowley LA.

Vada was a member of St. John Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Mother's Board Ministry and Minister/Deacon's Wives Ministry. She worked as a Cashier with Bellsouth.

She enjoyed reading, teaching the Bible, Sunday School, and training ladies on how to properly dress. She also taught at several crusades.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Pastor Norris A. Kirby; Stepchildren, Doris (Alexander) Stepp and Robin Albert Kirby; a host of nieces and nephews.
